Bond Street 

Did you know, Bond Street doesn't actually exist? Forgetting technicalities for a minute though, one glance at our Bond Street map and you'll immediately realise why this is the clothes shoppers street, with possibly the highest concentration of high fashion related shops anywhere in London. Being the centre of fashionable attention, it's in this shopping district that you'll find the shops and offices of some of the biggest names in high-end fashion. It's no wonder, then, that the Bond Street area is also one of the most affluent, and it's no secret that it attracts the rich and... um, rich. And some famous. And speaking of famous, Bond Street is also where you'll come across a rather intriguing and well known statue called "Allies", which portrays President Roosevelt and Winston Churchill sitting on a wooden bench, deep in conversation. In recent years, the area has found a rival in Knightsbridge, and in particular Sloane Street, and while those high streets have the areas of Chelsea and Kensington to add to their upmarket appeal, let's not forget that Bond Street goes straight through Mayfair, housing the most expensive squares on a Monopoly board. With an endless stream of unique and high-end fashion shops lining both sides of the high street, some exquisite restaurants and rather posh pubs, and not forgetting the concentration of art and antique dealerships (including the famous Grays and Sotheby's), Bond Street is one place you can't afford to miss... metaphorically speaking, of course. And if you're still wondering, two streets make up Bond Street; "Old..." and "New...".
