Fulham Road 

Fulham Road runs from Putney Bridge all the way to the area of South Kensington and along its stretch offers many shopping hubs. While perhaps the most popular of these my be the area widely recognised as Fulham Broadway, this certainly isn't the only one worthy of a mention. At the Western end of Fulham Road lies a quiet portion of shops, leading on from Fulham Broadway, and offering a far more relaxed and perhaps more charming side of shopping. Though this is a high street of the classic kind, with next to no side streets with hidden shops, what is on offer are a good range of art and antique stores and home ware shops. If coming from Fulham Broadway, you'll easily see - or rather feel - the difference as you leave the Broadway behind, instantly slipping into a far more leisurely stroll as the walls seem to fall away and the street opens up. Along the way toward Putney Bridge you'll come across some good names in fashion and outdoor gear, and some quality watering holes for a slow refuel. And of course, at the end of the street you can slip easily into the equally pleasant Putney Bridge. Who knows where Fulham Road will end up taking you.
